The I TAFISA World Martial Arts Festival will be held on the territory of the Ulyanovsk Region (Russian Federation) from 13 to 17 of September, 2019.
The festival was organized by the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region, the International Organization «Sport for All» TAFISA, the Russian Union of Martial Arts and the Ulcongress.
It is expected that this big international sport event will bring together more than 1000 representatives of the world sports community. They will present about 50 different types of martial arts in the capital of the Volga region.
TAFISA 2030 states the task of the I World Martial Arts Festival as “to share the values and advantages of martial arts with people in order to make the world a better place”.
The main idea of the festival is to open the martial arts for all countries of all continents. The main aims of the festival are promotion of a healthy lifestyle through martial arts, showing martial arts and culture of the world to participants and guests of the festival, preservation and promotion of national martial arts, promoting the development of international cooperation, implementation and transmission of the best world practices of martial arts and etc. In addition, the life and culture of the Ulyanovsk region and the work of the All-Russian Center for the Development of National and Non-Olympic Sports will be introduced to participants and guests of the festival.
The 1st TAFISA World Martial Arts Festival is foremost a holiday that will attract people from all over the world and will open their way to the world of martial arts!
