Kickboxing is a sporting martial art, which originated in the 1960s. It combines different types of martial arts: karate, wushu, taekwando, Thai and English boxing. “Kickboxing” translated from English into Russian, means “a fight with hands and feet,” which corresponds to this type of struggle, both in the middle and in the long range. In the process involve arms and legs, which are allowed to beat, anywhere, without holding back forces. The winner in each weight category is determined by participation in rating battles. The one who became the winner more times gains the highest rating and has the right to go to battle with the current champion. Fights take place in the ring. Between rounds there is a break of 1 minute. If we are talking about the fight for the champion title then it lasts 12 rounds.
